June 27th, 2015 - Kellen Chadwick Records Top Five Finish

Kellen dusted off the driving suit and jumped behind the wheel of his #83 IMCA Modified for the first night of the Antioch Summer Nationals at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch, California, where a stout filed of 26 Modifieds signed in including NASCAR star Kenny Wallace.  Kellen drew the outside of the front row for his heat race and proceeded to dominate and pick up the victory over Wallace, earning himself the 5th starting spot for the night's feature event. At the beginning of the feature, Kellen immediately moved from the third row into a battle for the lead and after the first five laps were scored, Kellen broke a pull bar and was forced out of the race, ending his night early. Kellen hopped back behind the wheel of his #83 IMCA Modified for the second night of the Antioch Summer Nationals on Saturday night and quickly got up to speed after starting fifth in his heat race, Kellen stormed to the front and won the heat going away, earning the fifth starting spot for the night's feature event. During the feature, Kellen raced amongst the leaders throughout the majority of the event, settling into fourth when the final checkered flag flew. For results, check out www.OvalMotorsports.com
