July 1, 2017 - Chadwick Closes Wild West Modified Shootout at Willamette Speedway

After getting upside down on the opening night of the Wild West Modified Shootout Speedway last weekend, Kellen and team went home and regrouped before hitting the road for the 3-night event at the Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, OR to wrap up the Speedweek. Thursday night, Kellen ran 4th and 2nd in his two heat races before coming home with a solid 4th place finish in the night's main event. Friday night, Kellen won one of his qualifying heat races and ran 5th in the other before coming home with his second top ten run of the weekend, placing 10th when the checkered flew. Saturday night, the series wrapped up its 2017 campaign with a three-wide, 30-car starting field. Kellen ran 5th and 3rd in his respective heat races earlier in the night before starting inside row 7 for the main event. Kellen would run inside the top 15 much of the event, coming home with a 19th place run when all was said and done. Results can be found at Wild West Modified Shootout on Facebook.
