 Kellen competed in the West Coast Nationals at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch, CA over the weekend and picked up the $7,500 payday when all was said and done!
 Friday night, Kellen had a rough round of heat races, but ran third in the b-main and raced his way up to tenth in the main event. Saturday was much better, winning his heat race, which put him in the fourth row for the $7,500 to win main event. In the feature, he worked his way forward and was able to steal the lead from Bobby Hogge on the final lap to win the biggest paying Modified race in California!
Colorado racer Tripp Gaylord piloted Kellen's second car and also won his heat on Saturday night, which put him 6th in the starting lineup for the main event. He was able to race home with a fifth place finish, putting both cars in the top five when the final checkered flag of the weekend flew.
