
Kellen and his team competed in the newly formed IMCA California Speedweek this past week, which featured six races at six tracks over six nights, starting on Monday at the Placerville Speedway in Placerville. Kellen started out the week with a heat race victory and the ran 14th in night's main event.
Tuesday, at the Petaluma Speedway in Petaluma, he raced his heat race, then drove through the tech area and was forced to run the b-main. He then charged from 10th up to 2nd in the b, locking himself into the feature. In the main, he started 18th and rallied his way forward to come home 7th.

Wednesday, he entered action at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch and ran second in his heat race and posted a 13th place finish in the feature.
Thursday, at the Merced Speedway in Merced, he won his heat from the pole and raced to his second top ten of the tour, crossing the finish line with a ninth place run.
Friday, at the Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, he won his heat for the second night in a row, but after starting 8th in the main event, unfortunately, fell out of the feature and did not finish his first race of the week.
Saturday, during the final night of the series at the Bakersfield Speedway in Bakersfield, he raced from 9th up to 4th in his heat race, came home second in the b-main and finished off the tour by passing 10 cars from his 18th starting spot in the feature to come home 8th.
All in all, he qualified for all 6 features and posted three top ten finishes, along with three heat race victories.
