Kellen made the trip to the Merced Speedway in Merced, CA over the weekend for the Al Miller Memorial 2-day event. Friday night, he ran fifth in his heat race before coming home second in the b-main and then working his way forward from his 16th starting position up to finish 10th when the checkered flag flew. On Saturday, he ran third in his heat race and then bested the field after starting 7th and racing his way to the front and taking home the $2,000 winner's payday.

Kellen was back behind the wheel of his #83 Modified and made his second start of the season in a Stock Car on Saturday night at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch, CA. In the Mod, he was able race from 5th to 2nd in his heat race and then backed that up with an 11th to 5th run in the night's feature event. In the Stock Car, he ran third in his heat and then recorded a runner up finish in the feature after starting 7th.
