Kellen was back in action this past Saturday night at the Stockton Dirt Track in Stockton, CA for a Saturday night Modified event. 

After starting fourth in his heat race, Kel raced to the front and won. He then redraw a 12 for the feature, putting his #83 outside of the sixth row for the feature event. During the feature, he was able to race his way forward into the top ten at the start and then made his way into the top five before settling in to the third running spot, where he was able to cross the finish line.

Kellen made the trip back over to Arizona for the weekend and competed in the Arizona Speedway's inaugural Superstition Showdown for IMCA Modifieds this past weekend. Friday night he was able to win his heat from the pole and then run inside the top five the entire main event, crossing the finish line with a fifth place finish. (Cherly Sluka photo)

Saturday, he raced from 5th to 2nd in his heat race, which put him 11th in the feature lineup. From his 6th row starting spot, he was able to charge into the top five and record a fourth place finish.

During Sunday's finale, he ran third in his heat, placed second in the b-main and after starting 14th in the feature was working his way forward before suffering a flat tire, ending his night early.

All in all, it was a very successful weekend for the team.
