Kellen made the trip back to Arizona for the second weekend in a row, this time to compete at the Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, AZ. Friday, after qualifying 5th in his group, Kellen ran second in his heat race and then after starting 10th in the feature, he was credited with a 19th place finish when the checkered flag flew. 

Saturday, he qualified 9th in his group, ran third in his heat and then was officially scored 19th for the second night in a row in the feature rundown.

Sunday, after qualifying 18th and finishing 7th in his heat race, he was able to get up to speed in the feature and charged from his 21st starting spot to finish 12th to cap off the weekend.

After a top five fun on New Year's weekend kicked off Kellen's 2021 season, he decided to make his first ever trip over to the Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, Arizona for the second weekend of the Winter Nationals in his #83 IMCA Modified.

Thursday night, he drew poor and started 9th in his heat. He was able to move forward to finish 7th at the checkered, which put him 12th in one of the night's b-mains. From there, he moved forward to come across the line with a 10th place finish.

Friday night, he again started 9th in his heat and raced forward to 5th, putting him 5th in the b. He then raced up to third to qualify for the night's feature. He started 21st in the main and moved forward up to come across the finish line in 17th.

Saturday, for the final night, he started 4th and finished 5th in his heat and then ran eighth in the b, missing a transfer spot to the feature and ending his weekend.

Kellen kicked off his 2021 season on Saturday, January 2nd at the Antioch Speedway for the track's New Year's weekend opener. A solid field of 21 IMCA Modified competitors signed in to kick off the season and Kellen raced home with his first top five finish of the year.

Kellen raced from 4th to finish 2nd in his heat race, which earned himself the 11th starting spot for the night's main event. In the feature, Kellen advanced 7 positions from his 11th starting spot to race into the top five, coming home with a fourth-place finish for his efforts.
